Lonz Mansion Renovations

Owned by The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, this unique project gave way for complete restoration of the historic Lonz Mansion at Middle Bass Island State Park. The mansion, a cornerstone of Ohio’s winemaking history and the Lake Erie Islands’ heritage, was revitalized while carefully preserving its historic charm. ODNR plans for the upstairs of the mansion to be used for overnight rentals. The first floor will be used for self-guided tours.
